I'd rather not go with healing since that's Cain's thing and struggle already, but the "like waterbending" was more in reference to how it ties to a form of martial arts and focus but can have much more constructive uses such as collecting water, making shields, or being used defensively or playfully.

Domestically helpful is a good way to put it. Something that he can use but wouldn't be conflicted over so that he can try to find a way to make it of worth in general. He needs something that would help him think "oh I can help with that," instead of letting it go to the more-capable characters on the turtle in whatever area it might be. He's just a baker... but he could be a baker with superpowers.
