Your event has been approved! The goodwill generated through the Foreigner festival in July carries to support the Midsummer Ball. Some kedan will grumble that they have bigger problems to deal with than party after party, and that Valdis is inviting more trouble by putting on yet another public event, but most recall the previous ball she organized and are positive about it.
