Given the large number of canons where progressing forward in the story results in characters learning new skills and abilities, I'm left a little confused on what a canon update is for, if not for this (and a little clarity on the instructions would have helped. It mostly explains the how and doesn't explain the what at all).

If I wanted these new abilities I would need to drop and app with a new application? Would it get treated as a new character who wouldn't have their Keeliai memories intact?

Is the scope of the powers really the issue, since in my opinion these powers aren't particularly notable compared to several other characters who live on the turtle thus far? If that is the case I would rather allow the mods to limit them, since I am at a total loss to understand why they would cause problems.
