PLAYER HIATUS & CHARACTER DROP

TAKING A HIATUS?
Any member who will not be able to post for one or more of their characters over period of time greater than one week has the option to go on hiatus. A hiatus is defined as a period longer than one week, but not longer than six weeks, during which no new threads, logs, or posts for that character will be started. Tu Shanshu does not allow retroactive or backdated hiatuses without mod approval; you may forward date hiatuses if you know that you'll be away. Members that have been on hiatus for 10 days or more (not counting the grace tagging period after month's end) in a given month will be exempted from that month's activity check. Finishing and tagging threads/logs/posts started prior to going on hiatus is permitted as are non-AC qualifying tags (IC inboxes) and OOC things (CR meme, plotting, etc). However, starting anything new triggers an end to the hiatus exemption, and AC requirements come back into play. Please note that you cannot be exempt from two ACs in a row on the same hiatus. As outlined on the Gameplay FAQ, one of three things can happen to your character(s) ICly: they can be on autopilot, in a Dreaming coma, or be fully in the Dreaming and missing from the city. Please indicate which is applicable to each of the characters you're placing on hiatus. Each hiatus request must be confirmed by a mod reply to be considered official. If you have any questions, or if you need a hiatus greater than six weeks, please don't hesitate to contact the mods via email or PM. Hiatus comments are screened after the player has returned, for neatness and archival purposes. • Just copy & fill out the below form, making certain to include the hiatus dates.
